I went abroad excited, and left even more excited for the future.

I guess one of the few good points of quarantine is that everyone’s spending more time on social media, whether that’s on existing platforms like Instagram and TikTok, or new ones such as Spoon (a live and recorded podcast platform).

So if you’ve seen my recent Instagram post you might have noticed that I’ve been exercising quite a bit now and have managed to lose the weight that was covering my abs and build the muscle up a bit. Now I wasn’t actively exercising before the quarantine started besides constantly lifting the 15kg bags of dog food where I work normally, but since this quarantine started I’ve been working out regularly too.

My dad came into my room the other day as I was doing my hair and makeup on one of my days off of work to ask me why I bother still getting ready when I’m not going anywhere. And my response was simply that Boris told us to maintain normality

Okay, now I’m not blowing my own trumpet or anything here, but my Instagram account is doing bits at the moment. I’ve been growing so quickly over the past few days, resulting in finally getting over the 7000 follower account after deviating closer and further from it for the past few weeks.
Read MoreCoronavirus: What this has made me realise
It’s times like these when we realise what we’ve taken for granted: seeing family, going on nights out with friends, and being able to pop out pretty much anywhere to meet up with people and socialise. It’s funny really that it’s taken a massive pandemic like this to make us all realise what means the most to us
Read MoreCoronavirus: What to do when you can't leave the house
Luckily, or unluckily depending on how you look at it, I’m still working so I’m not cooped up in the house all the time. However, I have had to cut down my hours quite a lot, and now I’ve had a couple of days off of work, I’m finding myself sitting here wondering what I can do. I can’t work from home like Boris is telling us to, so it leaves the question, what do I do when I’m not working?
Read MoreFirst impressions: Do they really count?
In short, yes, but they can be malleable, and things can change as well as people’s opinions. I get told quite a bit that I seem really quiet and awkward at first, but then when I get to know someones and start talking, I don’t shut up. Anyone who knows me well, knows I talk for England,

When all this news about Covid-19 came out regarding Wuhan, I think everyone, myself included, thought it wouldn’t get as bad as it most likely will do

It’s always funny to see when you go through a big life change, how you’ll come out of it on the other side. As most of you would have gathered, I left my partner, moved house, changed my career and a lot of other stuff happened between that, but in a way I’m grateful that I did go through all that, and I’m much happier for it now.
Just going to go on a casual little rant now considering this is where I like to vent usually!
Obviously because of no longer having a regular photographer and living in a more remote place, I had to put my modelling on hold whilst I sorted everything out. Now, however, I’m settled, better off, and ready to get back into the swings of things with my modelling, social media and general life. I know it might take a while to get back into it properly, but until then I’m happy with how everything is going so far.
I mean I am so grateful for my family for helping to get me sorted out, I know I’m not there entirely yet but everything will be good shortly. My job is going really well currently, and I’m so pleased I managed to start working here, and for the people I’ve met through that. I lost a lot of people I was good friends with a few months ago, but I suppose that just proves who was actually there for you and who wasn’t. For the people that have been there for me, and the people I’ve met recently, thank you. <3
I’ll try not to mumble on too much more. I just wanted to say, I think I’m going to use my blog, along with for my photoshoots, brand work ext, to open up a bit more. It’s something I struggle with, but writing blog posts has always helped and it’s a really good way to vent without having to actually open up to someone in person.
Much love to everyone who reads this and is there for me. Now here’s a photo of me looking sassy - Liv x
