I always love it when a brand wants to work together continuously, regularly producing photos and promoting them on my social. It really is a two-way working relationship really; working with them benefits both me and Boomer and Jen as we’re both promoting each other in a way.
I did my first set of photos for Boomer and Jen back in January of last year, and have just finished the third set I’ve produced for them. Obviously, with the last two, I was able to get out into the countryside and Exeter to get some outdoor lifestyle photos. However, with the current situation, I produced all the photos from the comfort of my not overly photogenic house (I am working on that aspect though).
Now onto the actual topic of the clothing, Jen sent over a pair of black joggers, a white cropped vest, a mustard short-sleeved top and a cute little yellow tote bag. I’ve never actually owned a pair of joggers till now, but I think I might have been converted to getting some more considering how comfy they are!
The aim of the shoot was to get some photos in lifestyle situations of what people would be doing in quarantine really. Personally, I’ve been learning how to play the piano more so I can sing along to that (no I can’t sing, but I do enjoy it), been reading a lot, and relaxing a bit more than normal when I'm taking breaks from what seems to be a very busy schedule currently. Hence I got some photos in these kinds of situations, which were only taken on my phone camera, and then I edited using SnapSeed.
Let me know what you think of the photos, and go check out Boomer and Jen on their website (www.organiccottonclothing.co.uk) or Instagram (@boomerandjen_organic _ clothing)! - Liv x
